Welcome to Villa Tiburón! We would like to make you aware of all the applicable House Rules currently in place at Villa Tiburón.

Understanding and complying with our House Rules will make for a safe, comfortable and fun stay for everyone!

Security Deposit

A security deposit is required at check in of $1500 USD to cover any possible damages to the house or contents.

For your safety and in order to avoid any deduction from your security deposit, please take a moment to read each of the rules carefully.

Housekeeping

  • The villa will be cleaned and prepared with linens and towels upon check-in.

  • Daily housekeeping is provided from 9 AM to 5 PM.

  • Linens and towels will be changed every three days.

Occupancy

  • The standard occupancy for the home is 12 guests.

  • The maximum occupancy allowed is 20 guests.

  • Additional guests beyond the standard occupancy will incur extra charges.

Pets

Pets must be pre-approved, and an additional pet deposit may be required. Failure to comply may result in eviction.

Parking

Our villa offers parking space for up to 3 vehicles. Kindly utilize the designated parking area to prevent any inconvenience to the neighbors.

Pool

  • Children must be supervised by adults at all times when using the pool.

  • Diving or jumping into the pool from the villa's structure is not permitted.

  • Prohibited to use any glass in the pool.

Smoking

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the villa.

  • Please close balcony doors when smoking outside and use ashtrays for cigarette disposal.

Parties and Events

Parties or events with outside guests are not permitted without prior approval from the property manager and an additional event deposit. Failure to comply may result in eviction.

Security Measures

Keep the villa secure at all times by locking doors and windows when you are away. Do not share access codes or keys with unauthorized individuals.

Environmental Conservation

  • Our villa is located off the power grid - we opperate off Solar and Generated power. Help us conserve energy by turning off lights, air conditioning, and electronics when not in use.

  • Additionally, please dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible.

Compliance with Laws

Guests are expected to comply with all local laws and regulations during their stay.

Cancellations & No Shows

  • Cancellation Periods:

    • Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date: Full refund minus any transaction fees incurred.

    • Cancellations made 30-60 days prior to the arrival date: 50% refund of the total booking amount.

    • Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the arrival date: No refund will be issued.

  • Early Departures: No refunds will be provided for early departures or unused nights once the guest has checked in.

  • Refund Process: Refunds, if applicable, will be issued within 30 days of the cancellation date, minus any transaction fees.

  • Force Majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions, we reserve the right to modify or cancel bookings without penalty.

  • Guest Responsibility: It is the guest's responsibility to review and understand our cancellation policy prior to making a reservation.

  • Notification: Guests must notify us of any cancellations in writing via email or through the booking platform used.

  • Exceptions: Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the property manager.

No Show: will be charged 100% of the reservation. No refund will be issued.

Please note that by confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms of our cancellation policy. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may necessitate cancellation.

 

Liability

  • Villa Tiburón is not liable for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur on the premises.
  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables.

  • The villa and its owners, administrators, and employees are not liable for damages, whether mental or physical, arising from:

    • Travel delays or cancellations.

    • Monetary crises, social unrest, political or labor problems, or other unforeseen circumstances.

    • Absence of travel documents, visas, passports, or health certificates.

    • Loss or theft of items.

  • The owners of the property do not assume liability for loss, theft, damage, injury, or death to persons or personal property. Guests agree to hold the owners harmless for any liabilities arising from their use and occupancy of the vacation rental property.
